I decided to watch ‘Easy A‘ this weekend, not because I’d heard it was a great film, which I had and it kinda was, but because it starred Emma Stone, an actress I’d been hearing great things about. Probably the main reason I’m interested in her career is because she’s co-starring in the new Spider-man film as Gwen Stacy. Essentially no matter how vocally I oppose this reboot I still harbour some belief that it could be a good film. Because I’m clearly a huge nerd. ‘Easy A’ is the first film where she’s been given a starring role which is disappointing as she totally makes the movie and I hope she will get more lead roles in the future. I’m not sure how much her performance in ‘Easy A’ will be seen in her portrayal of Gwen Stacy but I hope at least some of the fiery, husky and funny character will appear...
